The short version
We collect your email address, and nothing else. We use it to send you one educational finance email a day. We do not sell it, we do not track you, and we do not use cookies or analytics. You can leave at any time with one click.
Who is responsible for your data
Kesto is operated by Alberto Tanara, based in Italy. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, contact: hello@readkesto.com.
What we collect
- Your email address — given by you when you subscribe.
- Delivery information — whether an email was delivered, opened, or bounced. Our email provider records this automatically to keep delivery working.
We do not collect your name, location, IP address, browsing behaviour, or any other personal data. We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We use your email address only to send you the Kesto newsletter. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you click the confirmation link in the email we send you. We do not send you anything else, and we do not process your data for any other purpose.
Who else sees it
Two service providers process your email address on our behalf, under data processing agreements:
- Resend — stores the subscriber list and delivers the emails.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and processes the signup request.
Both are based in the United States. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else, ever.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, your address is removed from our sending list. If you want it deleted entirely rather than marked as unsubscribed, email us and we will erase it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it erased;
- receive a copy of it in a portable format;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- withdraw your consent at any time — the unsubscribe link in every email does exactly this;
- lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Children
Kesto is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email.
